Sunday, May 23, 2010 is a very sacred annual SABBATH-day appointed by God! It is the annual day of PENTECOST,
or Festival of First Fruits. On that day we are commanded to cease our work, just as on the weekly Sabbath, and to
assemble in holy convocation.
The word "Pentecost" is a GREEK word. It was not used in Old Testament times. It signifies "fifty", because this day was
determined by COUNTING fifty days FROM the morrow [or that Sunday] after the weekly Sabbath which falls during the
days of unleavened bread. Literally, the Greek word "Pentecost" means "fifty-count." Count fifty. Seven weeks were
counted until the fiftieth day after the Sabbath or to that Sunday Called Pentecost. Fifty can be a very meaningful number.
The Day Of Pentecost is observed Sunday, May 23, 2010. Service is at **03:00p.m. or the appointed time. The Day
Of Pentecost observance Service is scheduled to be held here in the RMA BUILDING in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In
addition, an offering is taken up on this holy day. Please don't forget to bring an offering. Thanks. For more information,
please contact Mr. Robert Nunnery at 910-483-0658, 910-323-1959 for this observance. Thanks, please.

Since the creation of man, GOD has always had his work in the earth. A work that holds out hope for all humanity.
Pentecost pictures the preparation work which GOD is doing in the earth today in preparing for HIS kingdom to come and
in order to save all of mankind from SIN and our temporary state in the end of the world.
On the Day Of Pentecost, authorities have proven that the TEN (10) COMMANDMENTS were given, GOD’S HOLY
SPIRIT came, and that THE DAY OF PENTECOST is the birthday of The New Testament Church Of GOD. How
wonderful!!
Pentecost pictures A DAY OF SALVATION, now made possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ…and the
out pouring of God’s Holy Spirit. THE DAY OF PENTECOST pictures GOD working through a selected or elected few
by pouring out HIS Holy Spirit in human fleshly people. These ELECTS are God’s Elects which are the first called or the
election and the firstfruits in GOD's PLAN OF SALVATION chosen from AMONG MANKIND since the time man
was created upon the earth. Eventually, God will call and select or elect all people, giving everyone a chance for
SALVATION. It is not the will of God that any should perish, but that everyone be SAVED. 2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not
slack, concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should
perish, but that all should come to repentance. Pentecost is not the only DAY Of SALVATION. 1 Corinthians 15:19 If
in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most MISERABLE. There is the APPOINTED DAY OF
SALVATION coming at the end of the world, after the resurrection of the dead, at the return of Jesus Christ to this earth.
Please notice Acts 17:31-32 (King James Version) 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the
world in righteousness by that man [Jesus Christ] whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men,
in that he hath raised him [Jesus Christ] from the dead. 32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some
mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter. How comforting to know that there is hope in Christ
Jesus after the resurrection!! At this time we are called to be use of God to do God’s work.
Jesus Christ kept and observed THE DAY OF PENTECOST. The early New Testament Church (whose converts were
made up of anybody God called of both Jew and Gentile) happily and joyfully kept and observed THE DAY OF
PENTECOST. ACTS 1:3 – 5, 3 To whom also HE [Jesus Christ] shewed himself alive after his passion by many
infallible proofs, being seen of them FORTY DAYS, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the
promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with THE HOLY GHOST NOT MANY DAYS HENCE.
AND verse 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto
me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
ACTS 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
I CORINTHIANS 16:8 But I [Paul] will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
AND ACTS 20:16 For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he
hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem THE DAY OF PENTECOST.
MATTHEW 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. God's Holy Day Observances and Sabbaths were taught to us down
through the ages.
